“Mail over quota notification” email
Your Mailbox Quota
If your website and emails are hosted by Accurate Expressions, your mailboxes are configured by default with a predefined quota of 1024MB (1GB) disk space. You can modify the disk space quota as needed (more info at SureSupport).
NB: the maximum size for your mailbox is 10GB on the Economy Plan and 15GB on the Business Plan.
If your mailbox reaches a certain percentage of its quota (90% by default), you will receive the following notification from SureSupport:
Sender: noreply@suresupport.com
Please be advised that username@domain.com e-mail account is currently using more than 90% of its space. Keep in mind that if your mailbox is full, you will not be able to receive new messages. Please clean up your mailbox in order to prevent e-mail loss.

Cleaning up your Inbox
Delete old messages
The easiest way to clear space is to delete old messages from your mailbox. You can do that in your email reader, or by logging into Webmail (if you’re hosted with Accurate Expressions, access webmail by adding “mbox” to the front of your domain, eg: mbox.yourdomain.com.au).
- Log into Webmail to see all the messages you have in your mailbox. Delete the ones you do not need (old, spam, and virus messages that are taking up space).
Archive your emails
If you need to keep your old messages for any reason, you may prefer to archive them. You can download messages from the server to your local computer by creating new folders on your device (best to do this on your desktop/laptop):
- Outlook: create a new folder in the “On My Computer” section.
- Mac Mail: create a new folder in the “On My Mac” section.
- Move (or Copy then delete) any messages from your server folders to your local folders.
- Items in these folders are saved only on your computer and are not synchronised with a mail server.
Save your emails as PDFs
For an even more permanent solution, you can save your messages as PDFs. Just click the Print icon and save as PDF.
