Phoenix Rehab: website
Leona from Phoenix Rehab and Pilates wanted a simple website to advertise her exercise and rehab and pilates services. The site is built on the Squarespace platform.

Beth needed a temporary site while she redesigned her Squarespace website. A simple microsite meant she could pause her Squarespace subscription until she was ready to relaunch. We kept the design clean and included a contact form so clients could still get in touch.

Elana Stone: website redesign + build
This website was so much fun to build! A few years ago I took over management of Elana’s previous website … it was pretty fancy behind the scenes, but sadly it didn’t age well. We wanted keep the site easy to maintain, so using a combination of custom fields and my favourite page builder, I was able to create some really eye-catching designs, whilst keeping it super simple for Elana to add new content.
The logo, backgrounds, and hand-drawn images were all created by Luna Tunes … but the rest of the design and all of the build is me. I was pretty excited to find a great font that matched the look and feel. This project is another great example of how high quality artwork can elevate a site.
PS: Elana is an amazing singer/songwriter and so much more … you should definitely check her out 😉
Working with Rae is always a pleasure. She is a total pro, seemingly unfazed by the inherent complications of web design. In fact – it appears that she relishes the challenge. She has a wonderful eye for design and is great at communication – making it easy for her client (me) to navigate their way through what I find to be a pretty confusing landscape. She did such a great job, I only hope that my music lives up to the amazing website she created for it!

My website was 4 years old, and I thought it was OK. It needed a refresh, and everything can be improved, but it was OK. What was not OK was my ability to sell books and other products via the site. There was a facility, but it was pretty basic. I needed something much better for a new series of products. Rae Stanton was recommended to me as the person who would bring the magic.
And that’s what happened. What a joy to work with someone who really knows what they are doing, is excellent at listening and understanding, and not shy about suggesting a better way.
My brief to Rae wasn’t particularly detailed. It was more like “review/refresh and make it easier to sell stuff”. Rae understood that much better than I did and designed solutions to the important requirements I wasn’t able to articulate.
My website is now not OK – it’s magic! Better messaging, better focus, and a massive tech uplift. You’ll probably want to go buy some of my books, just to have the experience!

When long-term client, Lesley Wai, relocated from Perth to New Zealand, we used the opportunity to freshen up the website and secure a new .co.nz domain name. We also upgraded her service pages to accept online bookings through the Squarespace Commerce platform, and set up her new Instagram account.
